Welcome to the 2018 ARTH 488A Digital Portrait Basket! Following the premise of the popular Food Network show, “Chopped,” this Omeka website serves as a "basket" into which members of our class will deposit digital entries for ancient portraits throughout the semester.

In addition to serving as a useful repository of important information, this basket serves as the basis for each class member's final project: a curated digital museum exhibition (a "tasty meal"!) featuring portraits found herein.
